Will Tom Brady Leave the Patriots in 2020?

In the sporting world many are wondering if Tom Brady will choose retirement, continue with the Patriots, or decide to play for another team. Tom Brady, Patriots franchise quarterback, will enter into free agency on March 2020, having signed only a one-year contract back in August 2019. Brady has spent 20 seasons with The Patriots setting an athletic record of having the longest stay with one team.

In this chart, Tom Brady is the Sun, Lord 7 and the Patriots are his turned Lord 10, radical Lord 4, ruled by Mercury. The Sun leaving the sign of mutable fire Sagittarius likely shows a change on the way for Brady. The Sun, dignified by triplicity, shows Brady still has strength to act and does not look to retire. The Sun and Mercury have a mixed mutual reception with the Sun (Brady) disliking the badly dignified Mercury (Patriots). Mercury, being in detriment, shows the Patriots are not in good shape and Brady is moving away from them.

The Sun is exactly conjunct Jupiter by antiscion in Capricorn. Jupiter is radical Lord 10, and the Patriot’s turned Lord 7, signifying an opposing team. The Sun’s aspect by antiscion shows the hidden nature of Brady’s actions.  Jupiter is in Fall. So the team Brady chooses to go for will not be a team that has been successful in the recent past. It appears that Brady has already decided to move on with the other team. The Sun is conjunct the cusp of the 11th house, the turned 2nd house of the other team, signifying the other team’s money. The team in reference, will likely offer Brady a better contract, unlike the Patriots whose significator Mercury makes no aspect to the Sun at all.

Prediction:  Sun exactly conjunct Jupiter by antiscion shows Brady will play for another team. Jupiter in Capricorn, essentially deflated, may be showing a weaker team that Brady chooses to play for. As an athlete, Tom Brady will be in his waning years, so going to a weaker franchise may not be a problem for him.  The Patriots are in bad shape anyway, shown by Mercury in detriment. This chart indicates that Brady and the Patriots will go their separate ways. The end of a 20 year legacy.
