Quick Trump Natal Snapshot
The major point in Trump’s chart is Mars conjunct his Ascendant. Mars shows his fighting nature. Here is someone destined to be in charge because fixed star Regulus, the heart of the lion, is conjunct his Ascendant and Mars. His Lord 1 Sun conjuncts the North Node which is a big power boost, and Mercury (Lord 2: self-esteem, possessions) conjuncts this powerful Sun/North Node point by antiscion (position mirrored in the 0 Cancer and 0 Capricorn axis). So, Trump is someone with a built-in, “I, me, mine!” nature who cares a lot about material possessions which is integral to his self-esteem. His Midheaven is conjunct Caput Algol, Medusa’s head, and though a malefic star it has not harmed his career, but instead created an allure that charms others and brings them to their detriment. Remember, Medusa was once an extremely beautiful woman. Another point to look at, are the two prominent oppositions in the chart. He was born under a Full Moon; therefore the Sun and Moon oppose one another, and his Part of Fortune (Super Moon) is on the Descendant opposing his Ascendant. Basically, these two oppositions show an antagonizing win or lose attitude regarding himself (Sun) and others (Moon).
Trump Secondary Progressions on 01/01/2020
Prog Jupiter and Prog Spirit (Trump) conjunct the fixed star Spica. Spica, located in the constellation of Virgo representing the Virgin Mary, offers protection from harm and gives success. For the last few years, despite many controversies, scandals, and impeachment he remains protected from demise and more resilient than teflon.
Venus is natal Lord 10 represents his job. Prog Moon (Trump) applying to oppose Prog Venus (Presidency) by antiscion during the year. Moon shows the emotions. This depicts the tension, stress, and frustration going on for him right now as sitting president.
Prog Part of Spirit (Trump) will apply to conjunct Prog Venus (job) this year. Venus being a benefic and placed in her sign of Libra may be testimony that he will stay in office.
Prog Sun (Trump) will conjunct natal Part of Love (Venus). This is positive testimony for Trump. This shows that Trump will experience some kind fulfillment which could mean he gets reelected.
Prog Part of Victory (Jupiter) will conjunct his natal Part of Spirit (Trump) by antiscion. This may be a third testimony that he will be reelected.
Prog Saturn applying to conjunct Prog Midheaven (Presidency) all year long. This aspect also conjuncts his Natal MC by antiscion. So a big emphasis showing no easy ride for Trump. Saturn indicates lots of frustration, restriction, difficulties headed toward Trump for the remainder of the year. Note that Saturn is in Leo and is ruled by the Lord 1 Sun (Trump), so he will ultimately have control over these impediments.
Summary:
His progressions show no major ending as president. We look to his solar return and then subsequent lunar return and transits during election time.
Trump 2020 Solar Return
Ascendant at 25.48 Cancer Conjunct fixed star Procyon. The fixed star Procyon is part of the Lesser Dog constellation and is the main star. The Lesser Dog is known as a loud barker and can cause trouble, but is also smart and crafty. Procyon can denote success, but does warn of petulance and needing to heed the advice of others. So Trump, in order to be successful will have to listen to others and not make impulsive moves.
Midheaven at 9.14 Aries Conjunct fixed star Algenib. The fixed star Algenib is part of the Pegasus constellation and does have a not-so-nice quality. It speaks of overestimation of one’s powers, as it relates to the myth of Bellerophan, who defiantly attempted his way toward the gods but then was struck down and fell to Earth. This is another star that advises not to overestimate your powers and to accept guidance instead.
Solar Return Lord 1 Moon (Trump) at 25.30 Pisces Trines Natal Venus (Lord 10) at 25.44 Cancer with a positive mutual reception. This shows major emphasis on the career. This is a good sign for Trump. Solar Return Moon (Trump) and Natal Venus (Presidency) are in harmony with each other.
Solar Return Lord 10 Mars (Presidency) at 20.53 Pisces applying to conjunct Neptune (Earth Shaker). Neptune causes earth shaking events, overwhelming emotions, and denotes duplicity and deception. This Mars/Neptune aspect opposes the Midheaven at 9.15 Aries by antiscion (position mirrored in the 0 Cancer and 0 Capricorn axis). This speaks volumes of the immense weight and impact the Coronavirus has placed on the presidency.
Summary:
The solar return does not definitively say if he wins or loses the election, but the Lord 1 Moon trine Natal Venus of career makes me lean toward a positive career outcome.
Trump’s October Lunar Return
But the lunar return preceding the November election gives contradicting testimony about whether he remains president. On the ascendant, the malefic South Node is conjunct the Moon. This is a negative testimony and could show he loses the election. However, the North Node and Part of Spirit conjuncts his powerful natal Sun/North Node aspect, activating it, and giving him lots of solar power and attention. This point placed on the lunar descendant could be showing his power manifesting in the outer world. Let’s look at the transits on the night of the presidential election.
Trump’s Election Transits
This chart is cast for when all the polls close on the night of the election. I see right away the Moon is exactly conjunct Trump’s natal Lord 1 Sun. A big positive testimony for Trump. We shall see.
For Biden to beat Trump, we would have to see lots of winning testimony that overrides what is found in Trump’s chart.
