Quick Biden Snap Shot

Biden has a mostly melancholic temperament. The key phrase for him is to “have and to hold” so stability, pragmatism, and persistence mean a lot to Biden.  This makes sense for someone who has spent an entire lifetime in politics since the late 60s. He was a senator from ’73 to ’09, vice president for 8 years, and now on his 3rd run for president. This is certainly a man who “holds on” and with his angular houses being in mutable signs, he can be adaptable, when it is necessary. Biden is a real family man, not a pretend one, with his exalted Moon and Part of Fortune firmly placed in the 5th house. This shows a deeply rooted love and care for his children, which I’m sure has been a major motivating factor for him in life. Biden’s hang up is Lord 10 Mercury, combust and in the 12th house, giving him foot-in-mouth disease. His communication skills, or lack thereof, have been a source of undoing for his public image. With four of his planets, residing in the 12th house, he works a lot better behind the scenes, secretly, while nobody is looking, and by most accounts worked quite well behind Barack Obama.

Biden Secondary Progressions on 01/01/2020

Progressed Asc conjunct South Node. The South Node binds and restricts, which isn’t too surprising, considering that while he’s been the democratic nominee, Biden has been unable to travel for his campaign due to the pandemic. Also, annoyingly this puts the North Node on the descendant, giving lots of spotlight and attention to his opponent Trump.

Progressed Midheaven is conjunct fixed star Antares. The autumn star foretells endings not new beginnings. This is not exactly a star I would want to see on a midheaven for someone trying to run for president.

Progressed Moon will conjunct Lord 6 Venus and square Lord 3 Saturn this year. As the progressed Moon, travels 14 degrees this year, Biden will have to overly cautious regarding personal health issues (L6) effecting his daily routines (L3).

Summary:

Biden’s progressions reflect health issues impeding his regular routine. I am not seeing a home run to the white house in his progressions.

Biden 2020 Solar Return

Biden’s Solar Return Ascendant & Moon are conjunct Natal North Node. North Node expands everything it touches, and with his ascendant and most powerful planet the Moon, activated this year, this shows lots of attention being poured onto Biden. Also, the South Node binds and restricts the descendant, showing his opponents, and we witnessed that clearly, when the other democratic nominees went down one by one. Trump too, is now going down in the polls, while Biden is climbing upward.

Solar Return Moon is conjunct fixed star Regulus. This star is the heart of the lion, great for kings and leaders, but comes with a warning that blind ambition could lead to a fall. Nonetheless, this has been a major victory year for Biden having defeated all other democratic nominees. The question now is, will this be enough to beat Trump? We shall see.

Biden’s Solar Return Midheaven is conjunct Alcyone. The fixed star Alcyone is the main star of the Pleiades constellation and foreshadows disappointments, tears, and blindness. It’s possible that on his road to the White House, Biden may not see clearly, an example would be paying too much attention to the polls that don’t reflect reality.

Summary:

Some signs of victory with Moon being conjunct fixed star Regulus including a powerful natal North Node activation, but Regulus comes with a warning that arrogance and blind ambition could lead to a fall. There are signs that Biden does not see the path ahead clearly.

Biden’s October Lunar Return

Biden’s Lunar Return Ascendant is on Prima Hyadeum, a nebulous group of stars, of the Pleiadean constellation. These stars are part of the Pleiadean hot zone of 25-degree Taurus to 5-degree Gemini. The Hyades are the weepy sisters, who are the daughters of Atlas, and can denote tears from disappointment and things that go wrong. The seven sisters symbolize material nature that is cut off from spirit.  They can indicate blindness and not seeing clearly as they are also connected to rain. Not seeing clearly seems to be a bit of a theme that is running through Biden’s charts. Biden will have to be extra careful not be led astray by certain forces, an example would be paying too much attention to polls or social media.

For Biden to beat Trump, we would have to see lots of winning testimony that overrides what is found in Trump’s chart, and Biden lacks much of that home run testimony to become president. We shall see how this continues to unfold.
