Jupiter-Saturn Grand Conjunction

Above is the Jupiter-Saturn Grand Conjunction chart calculated for Washington, DC capitol of the United States. The ‘GC’ covers a 20 year period of trends and cycles that will take place on a grand scale for the entire world, but by calculating for Washington, DC, we are only focusing on the promises and potentials for the USA. This GC also marks a new 200 year cycle, by which the GC degree will be landing on air signs Aquarius, Gemini, and Libra. This change in element will ultimately bring about a shift in world power. The time around a GC also brings a time of crisis, change, and certainly we are dealing with that now.

Here are a few general points of interest:

Jupiter-Saturn conjunction is on the fixed star Altair. Altair is the neck of the Eagle and denotes higher knowledge and wisdom. This GC point, will be the same for the whole world, and does show a promise of achievement in matters involving the air and intellect, like aerodynamics, telecommunication, and virtual reality. It will feel like the world is becoming smaller and faster as we fly high like the eagle.

There are signs of trouble in this chart. For instance, L1 Venus is conjunct Antares. Antares is the Scorpion’s heart and it’s symbolism presages major ending cycles. So the way we go about our lives, circumstances, and situations that we take for granted will go through an ending and transforming process. By 2040, the way things are, life, and how we view it, will be pretty unrecognizable to those living now. L1 Venus inside the malefic 8th house also reiterates this ending cycle and the troubles that it brings.

L2 Mercury which is ruler of our money and assets, is peregrine and combust, and this indicates a weak economy. It’s not showing an economic boom. Instead, this denotes financial situations that are under pressure and on shaky ground. We are seeing a sobering time for the next 20 years.

These are only a few points, in the chart, and when all this will activate will depend on the following ingresses, solar, lunar returns, and eclipses by 2040.
