Leo Eclipse is indicative of harm and illness to rulers as well troubles to rich and powerful. They predict the removal of some high ranking person, brings enmity among the public, …”motion of some great army or company of men, horrible wars, slaughter of men, thefts, murders, many towns or places depopulated” Also Lilly writes, “In the third decanate (of Leo), it presages captivities, besieging of towns, plundering, profanation of holy places, a scarcity of horses, or a destructive murrain (infection disease) amongst them.”

The luminaries do not ruler over the eclipses, so we look at the ruler of the 3rd decan which is Mars. In this eclipse, Mars is in Fall in Cancer, this is indicative of bloodshed, death, and crisis in the sea. As this eclipse is set for Washington, DC, it appears the war in Iran and the conflict regarding the Strait of Hormuz continues unabated especially with the next aspect of the Moon being a sextile with Mars in Fall, this is a continuation of war. The 2nd house ruler Jupiter, money and moveable assets are under the sunbeams of the eclipse, the economy remains under pressure, while the war lasts and potentially escalates. The ascendant ruler is on the South Scale, indicating a rise and fall of fortunes and danger from water this could show major heat, draughts, and storms causing destruction to buildings.

The eclipse is found in the second quadrant of the chart, so timing of events is end of year November 2026 through January 2027.

To further identify the symbolism and meaning of the Solar Eclipse, I utlized my Lenormand Cards and I pulled the Fox and the Tower. Fox represents employment, employees, our jobs, what we do for work, so this eclipse will have impact in that area of our lives, not surprising with Jupiter in Leo under the sunbeams that we feel the pressure of this ongoing international conflict that effects our resources.

The Fox is a loner and scavenger, people are struggling with scarcity, therefore taking stock, foraging, and scavenging. Foxes are cunning and at times deceitful and can denote trickery, lies, and connected with the Tower, this gives us a vibe of the fox in the henhouse.This combination represents the banks, government, and corporations. The Tower can even represent The White House. The eclipse will effect those in high places which will then impact those who are seeking jobs and looking for resources. The cards are pointing toward economic impacts that will most certainly be felt.
